Payment of conference fees

We strongly advise payment of conference fees via our credit/debit card using our secure online payment system, but if this is not possible then we will be able to accept cash and cheques in person on arrival at Queen's. We cannot accept purchase orders, bank transfers, or cheques posted to us in advance.

Credit/debit cards - online

QUB Information Services directorate has provided us with an online 'store' from which you can select your registration type and (optionally) attendance at the conference dinner. This system then passes you to the WorldPay service to enter your card details.

A few things to be aware of:

  • You will have to 'register' an account on the store. This will only take a minute.
  • When asked to specify an address it's quickest to provide that used as the billing address on the card you will be using - this is passed to the WorldPay server so you don't have to enter it again. However you can amend the details on the WorldPay site if you make a mistake.
  • Please take care to select the correct options for your payment, as errors will require a refund to your card and a second transaction, which incurrs a processing fee on our end!
The payments 'store' is located here.

If several of you are coming to NAM and wish to make a block payment using a departmental credit card our systems can support that - simply select the appropriate number of registrations in the 'shopping cart', pay, and then send an email to us at nam2008@qub.ac.uk stating who the payment is to cover, and whose name the payment was made in. The billing address is useful in this case.

Cheques and cash

If you are unable to pay in advance using a credit or debit card then we will be able to accept cash or cheques when you register at the conference.

In order to establish a verifiable audit trail, we request that delegates pay using cheques, in sterling, drawn on a UK bank. These should be crossed A/C Payee and made payable to Queen's University Belfast.

If you are coming from abroad and cannot pay by cheque then cash is acceptable, but please note that we will have very limited quantities of change available, so try to have as near to the exact fee as possible.
