ROSA archive

This page gives information on reconstructed data obtained with ROSA and their whereabouts on the ARC cluster, the quality of the reconstructed data, features that are observed in the data set and information for external users in acquiring reduced data.

Observing runs

For reference, here is a breakdown of ROSA runs per year. This list gives the number of days awarded each year split as:

  • The number of days awarded to UK based PIs
  • The number of days awarded to European PIs (excluding UK and SOLARNET TAS time)1)
  • The number of days awarded to PIs based in the USA
  • The number of NSO service mode days (2013 - 2014)
  • The number of days run in the SOLARNET TAS Program (2013 - )

Total number of days awarded for ROSA = 528

1) Please note that in the early days of ROSA it is possible that it was used by EU PIs using IBIS as well, but it was not explicitly put in their proposals and so wasn't put into the DST schedule. Therefore, numbers for EU PIs in the first few years may be unreliably low. This was rectified in late 2013.
