David Kuridze

I am a PostDoc fellow in the Solar physics group at the Astrophysics Research Centre at Queen’s University Belfast. I was awarded my PhD from Queen's University Belfast in July 2014. My research focuses on the analysis and interpretation of solar observational data obtained with state-of-the-art instrumentation, as well as theoretical modelling of the fundamental physical processes in the lower solar atmosphere.

Highlights of scientific career:

  • F-CHROMA FP7 PostDoc fellow: 2014 - present
  • 17 refereed publications in international peer-reviewed journals
  • First author for 12 refereed publications
  • Over 240 citations to my work
